JD Edwards Upgrade Workshop - Atlanta

Considering or planning to upgrade to the latest release of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or World? Interested in tips, techniques and tools for going live in less than 100 days? Need fresh ideas and the latest information on upgrade best practices? Are you afraid to upgrade?

This no cost workshop is offered to customers – even those off-maintenance – who are planning to upgrade to the latest release of JD Edwards ERP software. Customers will discover the “art of possible” with a 100 day (or less) upgrade project. Derived from the collective experiences of customers and partners across the globe, this workshop follows a company’s entire upgrade process, from business planning and project evaluation to hardware, custom code, data, testing, training and go-live activities.

Topics covered include current technology and business issues including cloud, hosting, integration, automated tools, performance and scalability. The focus of the session is on completing your project in 100 business days or less. This workshop lets every participant analyze their own current JD Edwards situation using online tools and other resources.

Gateway OAUG Training Day


On May 12th, 2017, the Gateway OAUG regional group held its inaugural Oracle Training Day event at the Ameristar St. Charles Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. Core Services kicked the day off by presenting "Make Life Easier - Leverage a Private Cloud". Thanks to all who attended.

 

Collaborate 17


Sometimes it is good to be a Collaborator! As they've done every year since 2006, the OAUG, IOUG and Quest teamed to host Collaborate 17, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in early April. As always the event was a blast, and we thank everyone who stopped by our booth to talk about how we can help you pair the cost and convenience of the Cloud with the reliability of traditional ERP.

 

Ohio Valley OAUG 2017 Meeting


On February 24th, Core Services participated as a break sponsor in the Ohio Valley OAUG's meeting in Louisville, Kentucky. Thanks to all who came out to the event!

 

East Coast Oracle Users Conference


The ESOAUG's East Coast Oracle User Conference drew over 300 Oracle end users and partners to the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 2nd and 3rd, 2016. Each day featured over 35 presentations on topics ranging from Oracle EBS security to improving transactional reporting in Oracle EBS, to Oracle Database compression.

OAOAUG Round Table Discussion on the Cloud


On August 2016, Core Services led a round-table discussion titled "Oracle Applications in the Cloud: Public, Private, Both or Neither?" during the Oklahoma/Arkansas OAUG's (OAOAUG) summer meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The discussion focused on Cloud computing and what it means to today's Oracle end users. Users had a chance to learn the latest on various Cloud services delivery models such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (AssA), while sharing their experiences, concerns and plans as they relate to the Cloud.

 

Core Services at Innovate 16


On May 2016, at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, New Jersey, Jim Bistis, Core Services Founder and CEO, delivered the presentation "Disaster Recovery: Defining Business Requirements and Strategic Solutions" as part of Innovate 16, a user group conference presented by several OAUG and IOUG groups serving the greater New York and Philadelphia Metro areas.
